We have developed a number of business conference websites for USAID projects implemented by Chemonics and Nathan Associates. The websites were created for "Business to Business", "Micro-Finance Institutions" and "Tourism B2B" conferences. Conference websites not only provided information on the conferences but also allowed participants to create and manage their business profiles online and to contact other businesses. Participants were able to interact with each other and to set-up meetings in advance. The websites were important tools for attracting international companies to project-sponsored events. The system handles creation of new conferences, registration of business and individual participants, and allows participants to contact each other. The system allows conference administrators to manage the whole content of the conference and to approve and make changes to the profiles of participants. |
